Tips before you go
- Shop early. Popular rentals are booked out in the last week before 31 October.
- Bring cash. Most rental shops ask for a cash deposit per costume.
- Try it on. Rental costumes can show wear, so check zips and seams before you pay.
- Check the return date. Weekend parties mean many shops want costumes back by Monday.
