His Excellency Dr Anwar Gargash, Diplomatic Adviser to His Highness the President of the UAE, affirmed that overcoming the vulgarity and degradation witnessed in Gulf disputes on social media is a duty for all. He added that there is no alternative to solidarity, prioritising wisdom and rejecting discord.
His Excellency said in a post on his X account: “Overcoming the vulgarity and degradation that we witness in Gulf disputes on social media is a duty for all of us. This language does not represent us, nor does it reflect our morals and values.”
His Excellency Dr Anwar Gargash added: “We are going through a critical phase that requires awareness and responsibility from all of us. We may differ in our assessment of situations, but there is no alternative to solidarity, prioritising wisdom and rejecting discord.”
