North East care home resident 'left home unsupervised overnight' as improvement order issued

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has placed conditions on St Mary's Care Home in Linthorpe, Middlesbrough, after a serious incident where a resident left the home unsupervised overnight, with the facility now barred from admitting people with a learning disability and autistic people.
