More than 5,000 attendees, 150+ exhibitors and 120+ speakers came together at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, turning two days of industry discussions into new opportunities across trading, fintech and financial services.
Hong Kong has bid farewell to iFX EXPO Asia 2026, but the business conversations, new relationships and ideas sparked at the event are only getting started.
Over two high-energy days at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, the global trading and fintech community came together for an edition defined by its scale, its diversity and the sheer pace of activity across the exhibition floor. More than 5,000 attendees from over 130 countries joined 150+ exhibitors and 120+ speakers, bringing together the people, businesses and technologies shaping the industry's next chapter.
From packed booths and back-to-back meetings to thought-provoking conference sessions and conversations that continued long after the formal programme, iFX EXPO Asia 2026 demonstrated the enduring value of bringing an international industry together in person.
This was more than a place to showcase products or discuss market trends. It was where businesses explored new opportunities, industry leaders exchanged perspectives and relationships moved forward.
An industry in motion
The breadth of the exhibition reflected the many forces shaping today's financial markets.
B2Broker, EBC Financial Group, INFINOX, M4Markets, ZFX, IC Markets, MetaQuotes, LMAX, Syphonix, Match-Trade Technologies, LetKnow Pay, Libertex Group, ACCM, Equiti Capital and CBCX were among the companies participating, representing a diverse ecosystem of brokerage, trading technology, liquidity, payments, infrastructure and digital assets.
For attendees, this diversity was part of the event's appeal. Within a single exhibition hall, visitors could explore new technologies, meet potential business partners, compare solutions and gain a broader view of the opportunities emerging across Asia-Pacific and international markets.
The exhibition floor reflected an industry that continues to evolve rapidly, with businesses navigating changing client expectations, advances in technology and new approaches to financial services. Bringing these different perspectives together created opportunities for conversations that extended beyond individual products or companies.
Where industry conversations moved forward
The conversations on the exhibition floor were matched by a conference programme focused on the issues shaping the industry's future.
Across the sessions, speakers examined the practical applications of artificial intelligence, the growing role of stablecoins in payments, developments in tokenisation and digital-asset infrastructure, and the opportunities and challenges facing Asia-Pacific markets, including Hong Kong.
These discussions offered attendees the chance to look beyond immediate business priorities and consider the wider forces influencing their strategies, operations and growth.
Yet some of the most valuable exchanges took place beyond the main stage. Through Business Connect, curated one-to-one meetings created opportunities for focused business discussions, while roundtables brought professionals together in smaller settings to exchange insights and explore shared challenges.
Networking events and evening gatherings added another dimension to the experience, giving attendees more time to reconnect with existing contacts and develop relationships initiated during the day.
Together, these experiences made iFX EXPO Asia 2026 a meeting point for both the conversations shaping the industry and the businesses looking to act on them.
The value of being in the same room
In an industry accustomed to operating across borders, time zones and digital channels, the opportunity to meet face-to-face remains powerful.
At iFX EXPO Asia 2026, familiar faces reconnected, new introductions opened doors and discussions moved naturally from exhibition booths to meeting spaces, conference sessions and informal conversations throughout the venue.
For exhibitors, the event provided an opportunity to present their offerings directly to an international audience, strengthen existing relationships and explore new commercial possibilities. For visitors, it offered access to companies, expertise and perspectives from across the wider trading and financial-technology ecosystem.
The value of these encounters cannot always be measured before the event ends. Some conversations begin with a question, others with a shared challenge or a potential opportunity. Their real significance often emerges afterwards, as follow-up meetings take place, ideas develop and businesses explore what they can achieve together.
That is what gives an industry gathering its lasting relevance: not simply the number of people who attend, but what becomes possible when they meet.
From Hong Kong to what comes next
Although the exhibition has concluded, the momentum generated in Hong Kong will continue through the meetings, discussions and follow-ups now taking place across the industry.
The questions explored during the conference — from AI and stablecoins to tokenisation, digital assets and the future of trading infrastructure — will continue to shape business decisions and industry debate well beyond the event. The relationships established across the exhibition floor will have their own next steps, as companies turn introductions into conversations and explore opportunities for collaboration.
For two days, iFX EXPO Asia 2026 brought together a global community with different markets, ambitions and perspectives, united by an interest in the future of trading and financial services. The result was an event that extended beyond the exhibition itself, creating space for new ideas, meaningful encounters and potential business opportunities.
The doors at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre have closed on this edition, but the conversations are far from over.
