OnePlus has confirmed that its upcoming Ace 7 series will launch in China later this month. Ahead of the launch, OnePlus has revealed details about a new dual-airflow cooling system designed to improve performance and comfort, particularly during gaming.
Although OnePlus has not announced the exact launch date. However, it has shared a teaser video on the Chinese social media platform Weibo. The new lineup is expected to bring major improvements in performance and build quality compared to the previous Ace 6 series.
OnePlus Reveals Dual-Airflow Cooling System for Upcoming Ace 7 Series
One of the main highlights of the OnePlus Ace 7 series will be its built-in active cooling fan. According to OnePlus China President Li Jie, the system uses two separate airflow pathways to manage heat more effectively.
The first airflow channel focuses on cooling the phone’s chipset. It directs hot air out through the side of the device, helping prevent heat from building up during demanding tasks such as gaming.
The second channel serves a different purpose. It directs cool air toward the phone’s rear panel to help keep the surface more comfortable to touch.
This design aims to reduce heat around the areas where users typically hold the phone. It may also help reduce sweaty hands during long gaming sessions, making the device more comfortable to use.
Designed for Better Gaming Performance
Smartphones can generate considerable heat when running graphics-intensive games or other demanding applications. Excessive heat can affect performance and make a device uncomfortable to hold.
By using an active cooling fan and two airflow channels, OnePlus aims to address both issues. The system is designed to cool internal components while also improving the temperature of the phone’s exterior.
However, the company has yet to share detailed performance figures or explain how much more effective the new cooling system is compared to conventional smartphone cooling solutions.
OnePlus Ace 7 Series: Expected Specifications
The upcoming lineup is rumoured to include two models: the standard OnePlus Ace 7 and the Ace 7 Pro.
Both phones are expected to feature a 200-megapixel main rear camera. Reports also suggest that the devices could pack a large 9,000mAh battery and use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
If these specifications prove accurate, the Ace 7 series could combine high-end processing power, a large battery, and an advanced cooling system aimed at demanding users.
OnePlus has not officially confirmed these specifications, so further details are expected closer to the launch.
Launch Expected Later This Month
OnePlus has confirmed that the Ace 7 series will debut in China later in October 2026, although the exact date remains unknown.
The new dual-airflow cooling system is one of the most notable features revealed so far. More information about the phones’ hardware, design, and other features should become available as the launch approaches.
