Eskhata Bank OJSC, in partnership with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), is supporting the development of Tajikistan’s green economy. As part of the partnership, an agreement has been signed to support a project by Kogazi Tojik LLC, which provides for the creation of new waste paper processing capacities.
The project is aimed at developing the recycling industry, making rational use of natural resources, and strengthening the country’s economic potential. The creation of new production capacities will help reduce waste volumes, increase the enterprise’s competitiveness, and generate additional jobs.
As part of further cooperation, Eskhata Bank plans to channel funds towards supporting and developing this sector. Phased financing in the form of monetary tranches is intended to facilitate the implementation of environmentally oriented initiatives, the development of production potential, and the strengthening of Tajikistan’s economy.
Eskhata Bank will continue to develop partnerships with international development institutions and support initiatives that contribute to sustainable economic growth, efficient use of resources, and the creation of new business opportunities in Tajikistan.
