ISLAMABAD, October 17. /TASS/. Armed clashes broke out on the border between Afghanistan and Pakistan with at least seven Pakistani servicemen killed and six wounded, the TOLO News television channel reported citing a security source.
The report says servicemen of the two countries clashed in the Dand-Patan district of Afghanistan’s Paktia province near the Durand Line, the border between the two states, which Kabul does not recognize.
Two towers and a CCTV camera were destroyed during the incident.
Shootouts in the area continue, but their intensity has already subsided, the source said.
