Arch Manning lost his top target to injury in the third quarter of Texas football's game Saturday night against Ole Miss.
Cam Coleman, a junior and transfer from Auburn, attempted to catch a deep pass from Manning on a rollout to the right side. Coleman did not complete the catch, and he landed on his left shoulder. He then rose from the turn holding his left shoulder, and he exited the field before entering the locker room.

Coleman, 20, entered Saturday with 20 receptions and six touchdowns in 2026. He played his best game of the season earlier this month, when he tallied five receptions for 110 yards and one touchdown in Texas' 27-24 loss to Oklahoma. Coleman caught 56 passes and scored five touchdowns for Auburn last season, then came to Texas as one of the top offensive players in the transfer portal.
