Whether you're shopping for groceries, gas, or electronics in this landscape, there is a risk of sticker shock. We can't help with the first two, but when it comes to PC hardware and other consumer devices, we have your back. Our constant hunt for deals has turned up a discount on a Lenovo laptop that beats Apple's MacBook Neo in some areas, while being cheaper to boot.
Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3i Is Back On Sale
Listed as today's deal of the day, a decently-configured Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3i is on sale for $629.99 at Best Buy. The retailer advertises this as a $670 savings over what it figures is a "comparable value," and while that's a bit inflated, this is the second-lowest price we've seen. If you missed out when it was on sale for $10 less last month, consider this your second chance.
What stands out about this laptop is that Lenovo didn't really skimp all that much on the specs. To start, it comes equipped with a 15.3-inch IPS display with a 1920x1080 resolution, fast 120Hz refresh rate, and touch support. In comparison, the MacBook Neo sports a smaller 13-inch screen with more expansive pixel real estate (2408x1506) with a slower 60Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, the IdeaPad Slim 3i packs an Intel Core 3 350 processor based on Wildcat Lake and built on the same advanced 18A node as Panther Lake. It's comprised of six cores and threads, including two performance cores clocked at 1.5GHz to 4.8GHz and four low power efficient cores running at 1.4GHz to 4.8GHz.
It also features 6MB of L3 cache, integrated Intel Graphics with two Xe cores clocked at up to 2.6GHz, and an onboard NPU rated for up to 17 TOPS for AI workloads.
Elsewhere, the system serves up 16GB of DDR5-5600 memory (expandable to 32GB), a 512GB solid state drive (SSD), a USB 3.2 Type-C port, two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, a DisplayPort 1.2 output, a 3.5mm audio jack, and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity.
Lenovo Yoga 7i OLED Laptop Is $450 Off

If you want a bit more muscle and an OLED display, then have a look at this Lenovo Yoga 7i that's on sale for $849.99 at Best Buy (save $450).
It obviously costs more, but it's also a little more versatile and premium compared to the IdeaPad Slim 3i, starting with the 14-inch OLED display. You don't give up pixel real estate or touch support, either—it features a 1920x1200 resolution and supports touch, though it does have a slower 60Hz refresh rate.
Other specs include an Intel Core Ultra 5 322 processor, 16GB of LPDDR5X-6400 memory, a 512GB SSD, 1x HDMI 2.1, 2x Thunderbolt 4, 1x USB 3.2 Type-A, 1x 3.5mm audio jack, and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity.
Here are a few more laptop deals, all with touchscreen OLED displays:
