This Italian grande dame overlooking the Ionian Sea began as a simple guesthouse in 1850 and has since evolved into one of the most luxurious hotels in Sicily—not to mention one of your favorites in Italy. Most recently it opened a brand-new Dior Spa featuring stunning mosaic floors, an infrared sauna, and a long menu of treatments (incorporating Dior products, naturally), such as sculpting facials and Ayurvedic therapies. Post-pampering, guests can dress up in a look befitting the property's long lineage of fabulous guests (Audrey Hepburn and Elizabeth Taylor among them) for a walk among the breezy garden's orange trees.
