A national competition attracting 400 participants
Between 2020 and 2025, the Hellenic Club for UNESCO Arts, Letters and Sciences welcomed 400 participants from across Greece and abroad to its national music competitions.
The competitions covered seven categories: piano, strings, solo vocal performance, traditional singing, traditional instruments, guitar, and wind instruments.
Composer Eleftherios Kalkanis, director of the Athens Municipality Symphony Orchestra, chaired the competitions. The judging panels included established figures from the music industry and experienced music educators.
The October 24 gala will bring together the competition’s top vocal performers for an evening celebrating opera and the achievements of emerging singers.
