Tzolis earned recognition for his performances with Belgian club Club Brugge during the 2025-26 season, establishing himself among the Greek players attracting attention in European football before his move to Arsenal.
Pavlidis, meanwhile, was recognized for his performances as a striker for Portuguese side Benfica, where he featured prominently in the club’s attack.
At the top of the ranking, England international Harry Kane of Bayern Munich finished first with 3,962 points, narrowly ahead of Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal, who collected 3,937.
Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé placed third with 3,440 points, followed by Manchester City’s Rodri with 3,142 and Paris Saint-Germain’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia with 2,444.
According to Marca, the ranking was determined by an international jury of more than 200 journalists, alongside other contributors.
Kane’s victory was the closest in the ranking’s history, with just 25 points separating him from Yamal. The English striker was rewarded for a prolific campaign with Bayern, during which he won the Bundesliga, German Cup and German Super Cup, while also claiming the European Golden Shoe after scoring 36 league goals.
