Kane following in CR7’s footsteps
After scoring against Arsenal on Wednesday night (2-2), Harry Kane is closing in on a record held by Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Bayern Munich striker has scored in his last ten Champions League matches. He has now surpassed Robert Lewandowski and Ruud van Nistelrooy, whose scoring streaks ended at nine consecutive games.
He now needs to score in just one more match to equal Cristiano Ronaldo’s record of scoring in 11 consecutive games.
Kane will have the chance to draw level with the Portuguese star on November 3 against Atlético Madrid.
