Delhi Police has denied permission for Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh’s scheduled concert at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on October 30, citing specific threat-related inputs, security concerns and law and order commitments amid the ongoing festive season, an official said on Thursday.
In a letter dated October 21, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Anant Mittal informed BookMyShow Live Private Limited Director Anil Makhija that the request to organise the “Diljit Dosanjh’s Aura India Tour Delhi” concert had been examined but could not be approved. (PTI)
