Marvin Harrison Jr. will make his debut with the Houston Texans in Week 6, just a few days after leaving the Arizona Cardinals in a blockbuster trade.
The Cardinals selected Harrison with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, with the expectation that he would immediately deliver as the team's No. 1 wide receiver weapon. But through 33 game appearances in Arizona, the former superstar prospect failed to deliver on those expectations.
Harrison fell out of favor as a pass catcher in the Cardinals' offense. Through four games with Arizona this season, he had just five catches for 85 yards and one touchdown on 13 targets.
When speaking to reporters for the first time as a Texan on Wednesday, Harrison was asked why things didn't work out in Arizona.
"I'll keep those things to myself. I'm really just moving forward," he replied.
Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans confirmed that Harrison will make his debut in Sunday's international matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London. However, the 24-year-old wide receiver will be limited in his playing time.
