Taking place from October 14 to 17 at the Diamond Island Convention and Exhibition Center (Koh Pich) in Phnom Penh, VIDEX Cambodia 2026 brings together more than 160 businesses across over 230 booths. The event provides an opportunity for businesses from both countries to strengthen connections, showcase products and explore partnerships in trade, investment and technology.
Under the message “Global Technology for a Sustainable Future,” reflecting Viettel’s vision of applying its global technological capabilities to address the practical needs of people, businesses and society, the Viettel booth is attracting attention from ministries, government agencies, businesses and visitors from both Vietnam and Cambodia. The booth offers hands-on experiences spanning digital connectivity, digital finance and AI, alongside energy and smart city solutions provided by Viettel Cambodia, operating under the Metfone brand, and other Viettel Group subsidiaries.
In logistics, Metfone is presenting Metfone Express, launched in June 2026, which applies technology to order management, delivery coordination and shipment tracking. The service represents a further expansion of the company’s operations to meet growing demand in Cambodia’s trade and delivery markets.
Since launching commercial operations in 2009, Metfone has become a telecommunications provider with extensive infrastructure across Cambodia. Building on this foundation, the company is progressively expanding into digital services, digital finance, logistics and enterprise technology solutions.
Alongside its business operations, Metfone carries out community support programs in education, healthcare and Internet connectivity, helping broaden access to technology, particularly in rural and remote areas.
