IMPHAL, Oct 22 : Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla, reviewed the progress of the ongoing Indo-Myanmar border fencing works during a meeting held today at the Conference Hall of Lok Bhavan, Imphal.
According to a press note issued by Lok Bhavan, the meeting was attended by the Chief Secretary, Security Advisor, Director General of Police (DGP), Additional Chief Secretary, Commissioner (Home), officers of the Border Roads Task Force (BRTF) and Assam Rifles.
Officials of Chura-chandpur, Chandel Kam- jong, Tengnoupal and Ukhrul districts also joined the meeting virtually.
Colonel Dev, Commanding Officer of 25 BRTF, made a detailed presentation on the progress of the border fencing works during the meeting.
