THE daughters of Beyoncé, Blue Ivy, 14, and Rumi Carter, nine, made a rare public appearance at the grand opening of the Knowles-Rowland House in Houston on Oct. 13, 2026.
Blue Ivy and Rumi took part in the ribbon-cutting ceremony, joined by their grandmother, Tina Knowles, 72, and Kelly Rowland, Beyoncé’s former bandmate in Destiny’s Child.
The facility is an $8.4 million housing project that provides shelter for people experiencing homelessness and those affected by Hurricane Harvey in 2017.
Rumi’s twin brother, Sir Carter, was not seen at the event. He is known for keeping a more private life and rarely appearing at public events. It was also unclear whether Beyoncé’s husband, Jay-Z, 56, attended the occasion. / TRC S
