Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang attended Build-A-Claw in Paris, according to a post on X. Developers at the event tested open AI models to build their own AI agents.
Nvidia’s own promotional materials for the series did not confirm a Huang appearance in Paris. The company has run Build-A-Claw as a developer program, with the spotlight on the workshops rather than on any single executive.
What Build-A-Claw actually is
Think of Build-A-Claw as a build-your-own workshop for software assistants. Instead of stuffing a teddy bear, attendees assemble autonomous AI agents.
Those agents run on OpenClaw, an open-source framework for building agents that handle tasks with minimal human input.
Nvidia’s event listing places the Paris session on October 13, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Paris sits within a wider European tour that also covers Barcelona, London, and Berlin.
The Paris edition centers on running agents locally on Nvidia hardware. That means the AI lives on a machine in front of you, not on a distant cloud server.
Security gets its own layer. Nvidia built NemoClaw, a stack that wraps OpenClaw with extra protections aimed at enterprise privacy needs.
The program is pitched as developer engagement. The Paris event is focused on workshops, not big infrastructure announcements.
Huang’s big bet on OpenClaw
Huang has been unusually loud about OpenClaw. In March 2026, he described it as potentially “the next ChatGPT.”
“the next ChatGPT”
He made the case at Nvidia’s GTC conference that same month. There, he urged businesses to adopt an “OpenClaw strategy” and pitched personal AI agents that can carry out complex jobs autonomously.
OpenClaw traces its origins to earlier projects known as Clawdbot and Moltbot, which launched as open-source efforts to let developers create agents that manage tasks with little supervision.
Nvidia did not invent the framework. What it has done is build tooling around it, with NemoClaw serving as the enterprise-friendly version that addresses privacy and security concerns.
Why Europe, and why France
The Build-A-Claw tour fits into a broader Nvidia effort to position France as a key hub for AI development in Europe. Paris gets a session alongside three other major European cities.
The Paris edition’s focus on local execution of AI agents on Nvidia hardware also has an obvious commercial logic. Every developer who builds an agent on a local Nvidia machine is, by design, a developer building on Nvidia’s chips.
