Italian sides have endured disappointing results on Europe’s biggest stage, raising further questions about their performances against some of the continent’s top teams.
Lorenzo and Matt analyse the latest setbacks, assess what they mean for Serie A’s European ambitions, and discuss the challenges facing Italian clubs in the competition.
The episode also turns its attention to Tresoldi, who made headlines with a hat-trick against Inter. The young striker’s performance has put him firmly in the spotlight, with his international future adding another intriguing dimension to his rise.
Eligible to represent both Italy and Germany, Tresoldi faces an important decision over which national team he will play for at senior level. Although he is expected to announce his choice next summer, speculation continues over whether he has already made up his mind.
