The Los Angeles Rams shockingly lost to the Arizona Cardinals by an 18-16 final score in their Week 6 matchup.
With this loss, the Rams now have a 2-4 record and have lost three out of their last four games. Now, to make matters worse, they have just received some awful news regarding star wide receiver Davante Adams.
While speaking to reporters, including The Associated Press' Greg Beacham, Rams head coach Sean McVay announced that Adams will be out for the next six to 10 weeks with a hamstring injury.
...
With the Rams struggling and Adams being one of their best players, there is no question that this is horrible news for LA. Now, the Rams are going to need to try to find a way to adjust without one of their most important offensive weapons.
In six games this season with the Rams, Adams has recorded four touchdowns, 30 receptions, and 480 receiving yards. This is after the six-time Pro Bowler posted 14 touchdowns, 60 receptions, and 789 receiving yards in 14 games for the Rams in 2025.
It will now be interesting to see how the Rams respond to Adams being out for such a significant amount of time. Their uphill battle to get back into the playoff hunt has only gotten more challenging.
