If there's one NFL active star we've grown accustomed to comparing to the legendary Tom Brady, it's Patrick Mahomes. After all, Mahomes is the leader of the NFL's current dynasty with the Kansas City Chiefs, after Brady led one for the New England Patriots for the better part of two decades. After the Chiefs' convincing win over the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, we now have another reason to pit these two iconic quarterbacks head-to-head from a statistical perspective.
You see, the Chiefs' latest victory was Mahomes' 100th win as Chiefs starter in his first 131 career starts. That is very fast and very impressive, dearest readers. The only other NFL quarterback to get 100 wins in their first 131 starts? You guessed it, Brady.
When asked about his reaction to tying an underrated Brady record related to winning, Mahomes was gracious and kept it classy. He called it an "honor" to be in any football conversation with Brady, as he should.
"It's always an honor to be in any conversation ... with him [Tom Brady]."

Honestly, at a certain point, this Brady-Mahomes conversation may also be true in reverse. When all is said and done, Brady may also consider it a true honor to be mentioned alongside his gifted peer, Mahomes. That's usually what happens with all-time quarterbacks.
