Noel Gallagher has been confirmed to be appearing on the final season of Amelia Dimoldenberg’s Chicken Shop Date.
In an Instagram post uploaded on Wednesday, October 21, the 32-year-old shared a video of herself and the Britpop legend sitting across the table from one another at an unspecified chicken restaurant.
“Stop crying your heart out, my next date is here <3,” she wrote in the post’s caption, shared to her 2.9 million followers.

Dimoldenberg announced in September that Chicken Shop Date would be coming to an end after more than a decade, promising fans a final run of episodes before she moved on to new projects.
The series began in 2014 and became a viral hit thanks to Dimoldenberg’s deadpan humour and deliberately awkward conversations with some of the world’s biggest celebrities.
The final run has already featured American singer Role Model and British R&B star Jorja Smith, with fans eagerly anticipating which famous faces will join the presenter before the series wraps up.
On Tuesday, October 20, speculation erupted that one of the Gallagher brothers could be joining Dimoldenberg as she teased the identity of her next celebrity date.
The post featured a series of boxes giving fans the chance to guess who would be appearing on the popular YouTube series, with the song “Stop Crying Your Heart Out” by Oasis playing in the caption.
Fans were quick to connect the dots, with many convinced the track choice was a hint that Gallagher, 59, would be taking a seat opposite the presenter for one of the show's final episodes.
Further speculation gathered pace on X, where fans pointed to a hand visible in the teaser, with some claiming it belonged to the Oasis guitarist.
One fan wrote: “OH MY GOD NOEL IS GOING ON THE CHICKEN SHOP DATE SHUT UP.”
Another suggested the appearance had effectively been confirmed, while others expressed excitement at the prospect of seeing the notoriously dry-witted musician take part in Dimoldenberg’s awkward, flirtatious interview format.
The speculation comes after Gallagher’s brother and Oasis bandmate Liam appeared to dismiss the possibility of taking part himself.
Responding to a fan who suggested he should appear on the series, Liam wrote: “Chicken shop date leave it out.”
The 90s band have been making many headlines as of late, after announcing their second comeback tour earlier this summer.

The band, formed in Manchester in 1991, became one of the defining acts of the Britpop era, with hits including Wonderwall, Don’t Look Back in Anger and Champagne Supernova.
Their reunion tour brought Noel and Liam back on stage together after years of public feuding, drawing huge interest from fans old and new.
