Governor Dikko Umaru Radda of Katsina state, Tuesday solicited total support of Daura Emirates Council for the re-election bid of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu.
While expressing confidence that the emirate will back President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election in 2027,he said the northern region is in serious need of Tinubu.
He made the declaration while leading Senator Abdul’aziz Abubakar Yari, Director-General of the Tinubu Presidential Campaign, and his delegation on a courtesy visit to the Emir of Daura, seeking the emirate’s support for the president.
Governor Radda said Daura’s bond with the APC dates back to the emergence of the late President Muhammadu Buhari, who strengthened the party in Katsina state.
“We have come to this historic emirate to pay homage to our traditional ruler and seek support for the re-election of President Tinubu.
“Daura has maintained a longstanding relationship with the APC since the emergence of the late President Muhammadu Buhari. I am also a beneficiary of the goodwill and political support of the people of Daura during previous party primaries,” he said.
