I have been having a lot of severe pains in my right knee for a long time. The doctor who diagnosed it as arthritis of the knee has placed me on many medications and physiotherapy without much improvement. I will appreciate it if you can suggest other solutions for the problem.

Even though I am not privy to your current treatment, pain medications and occasional steroid injections have been found very useful. However, if all these fail, knee replacement surgery may be the ultimate solution. An orthopaedic surgeon would be the best to advise you on this.
