LeBron James benefits from an aviation arrangement that would otherwise involve substantial transportation expenses. Front Office Sports reported that a one-way helicopter trip between New York City and Philadelphia typically costs approximately $4,000 to $10,000.
PhillyVoice cited a charter company’s estimate of approximately $12,000 for a round trip. At that rate, 67 round trips covering 41 regular-season home games and 26 home practices would hypothetically cost $804,000, excluding the playoffs.
