With the NFL trade deadline fast approaching, the Pittsburgh Steelers have been linked to an intriguing move that would bring the nephew of legendary safety Troy Polamalu to the Steel City.
On Thursday, ESPN's Bill Barnwell proposed that the Steelers trade a 2028 sixth-round pick to the Las Vegas Raiders in exchange for safety Isaiah Pola-Mao and a 2028 seventh-round pick.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are reportedly interested in a few defensive back trades involving the Green Bay Packers and Las Vegas Raiders.

Acquiring Pola-Mao, who has appeared in 67 games and made 32 starts since entering the league in 2022, for as little as a late-round pick swap would be a slam-dunk acquisition for Steelers general manager Omar Khan.
Pola-Mao, who signed with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent following the 2022 NFL Draft, has recorded 236 combined tackles, nine tackles for loss, 10 passes defended, and three interceptions during his five-year NFL career.
The Steelers were previously linked to Pola-Mao in August 2026, when reports surfaced that Pittsburgh was interested in acquiring the defensive back. The talented safety would be an intriguing addition to a secondary already featuring Jalen Ramsey, Asante Samuel Jr., DeShon Elliott, and Jaquan Brisker.
Pola-Mao could provide valuable depth for Pittsburgh while also competing for a starting role down the road. And it certainly doesn't hurt that his uncle is arguably the greatest to ever play the position.
