Texas football lost the anchor of its offensive line to injury in the first quarter of Saturday's game against Ole Miss.
Longhorns left tackle Trevor Goosby was carted off the field after his leg appeared to buckle while blocking a Rebels defender. Goosby laid on the ground for more than a minute after falling to the turf, and both teams went into their respective huddles at Royal-Memorial Stadium before Goosby was taken to the sideline.
Goosby, 21, is a senior and 2025 All-SEC selection. He did not return to the field for the remainder of the first quarter.
