Among the targets of the arson were a mosque, a vehicle, and an olive tree, Israeli and Palestinian media reported.
Jewish settler extremists attacked the West Bank village of Mukhmas on Tuesday night, setting fire to a mosque, a vehicle, and an olive tree, Israeli and Palestinian media reported.
Additionally, nationalist slogans were found spray-painted in the village, including lines reading "Regards, Susya," "Evacuation = Messy," and "The fact that we are quiet doesn't mean that we're sleeping. We haven't gone anywhere."
IDF forces arrived at the area, but no suspects were found on the scene, and no arrests were made.
Palestinian news organization PNN claimed that, in addition to the arson and graffiti, settlers had chased a shepherd and attempted to steal sheep belonging to local Palestinians. It also alleged that the settlers had stolen olives from Palestinian olive groves.
Palestinians reportedly attacked by masked settlers posing as soldiers
Earlier on Tuesday, KAN News reported that a Palestinian family was injured by masked Jewish attackers posing as IDF soldiers after the settlers attacked them in their home near Kusra in the West Bank.
According to KAN, the family was at home when the attackers knocked on the door around 3 a.m., claiming to be military personnel. The family stated the father opened the door and was grabbed by the extremists, who began beating him with sticks and rocks.
The mother and two teenage daughters reportedly tried to help the father and were also beaten.
A relative present at the time told KAN that the family opened the door only because they believed the people knocking were soldiers. The relative added that police were called multiple times about the attack and that there was a military presence in the area.
