Hana Securities has selected 10 ultra-high-net-worth families and will provide comprehensive wealth management services ranging from asset management to business succession.
The brokerage said on the 12th that it held the "Hana Securities Family Office Family Selection Ceremony" on the 8th at the Josun Palace hotel in Seoul's Gangnam district. It marks the first time Hana Securities has formally selected families for its family office service.
The 10 families will receive tailored wealth management services, including financial portfolio consulting, global asset allocation, real estate investment advisory, and tax and legal consulting. The firm said it has focused in particular on managing family wealth as a whole, extending beyond investment in financial products to support for drawing up business succession strategies.
Hana Securities also plans to expand non-financial services. It will help younger family members build networks and offer benefits tailored to the needs of ultra-wealthy clients, such as art-related and lifestyle services. To that end, the brokerage intends to strengthen cooperation among Hana Financial Group affiliates.
"Helping our clients' values and assets prosper across generations is the ultimate goal of the Hana Securities Family Office," Chief Executive Kang Sung-mook said. "We will do our utmost as a partner that provides clear financial insight and supports stable business succession."
