Kith is continuing its retail expansion with the opening of its second Canadian flagship.
On Thursday, the New York-based company open the doors to its new store within the north arcade of the newly opened Oakridge Park shopping center at W 41st Ave. in Vancouver. The new flagship offers the full range of Kith men’s, women’s and kids’ assortments alongside a dedicated Kith Treats space.
Kith founder, chief executive officer and creative director Ronnie Fieg worked with longtime partner and architect Ben Porto of Porto Architecture to bring the store to life. Key elements include a facade crafted from walnut that leads guests into the men’s section of the flagship, with Kith Treats to the right.
Visitors will see Kith’s design codes expressed through belvedere and calacatta vagli marble, complemented by dark walnut walls with Kith crest-embossed velvet panels. This space of the store is home to Kith seasonal collections, collaborations, and accessories, displayed within integrated wood cases with brass accents, suede and leather plinths, and calacatta vagli vitrines. Belvedere stone thresholds guide guests to the men’s footwear assortment, defined by polished Venetian plaster, dark walnut Kith Crest-embossed panels and brass trim.
Next, a dedicated patio entrance leads to the women’s section on the right, where lighter tones and materials contrast with the men’s area. Chevron white oak floors feature calacatta vagli detailing and Kith Crest mosaics, echoed on the walls alongside walnut trim and emerald quartzite accents.
The space houses the brand’s women’s seasonal collections, collaborations, and accessories, plus Vancouver-exclusive selects including designer handbags and fine jewelry. Walnut vitrines with rosa aurora stone tops display jewelry and additional accessories, while the footwear wall pairs Venetian plaster with rosa aurora, emerald quartzite, verias green, and rosa lepanto shelves.
Kith Kids continues its design language in Vancouver through cloud-shaped motifs at the ceiling cove and seating areas, mint green accents, and display cubbies featuring gem-toned marble. A dedicated footwear wall features sizing from infants through big kids.
Plus, Kith Treats welcomes guests through its own entrance, as well as through the retail space. The space features a rosa portugalo counter, azul cielo header, white carrara stone walls and floors, and signature stainless steel panels. Guests can enjoy Kith Treats’ mainstay menu of signature specials, create their own treats, or explore rotating limited time offerings and Vancouver-exclusive items.
To celebrate the opening, Kith reprises its partnership with Salomon to present a collection featuring the all-new XT-4K Mid, XT-4 OG, and XT-VYGR 2. All three styles will be available exclusively at Kith Vancouver on Oct. 23, ahead of the global launch on Oct. 26.
The new opening comes just months after Fieg remodeled and expanded Kith’s West Hollywood flagship in Los Angeles. Along with this May store opening, Fieg teased a new hospitality concept called “Ronnie’s Pronto,” a restaurant aimed at becoming “your new favorite breakfast, coffee, matcha and sandwich joint in L.A.”
In November, Kith opened the doors to its expansive new flagship in London. Located at 314 Regent Street, the new 19,000-square-foot store features the complete Kith men’s, women’s and kids’ assortments, alongside Kith Treats and Fieg’s first independent restaurant venture — Ronnie’s.
All told, Kith has 15 stores in the U.S., two in Canada, one in France, two in the U.K., three in Japan and one in South Korea.
