President Peter Mutharika has pledged to improve mothers’ access to healthcare, economic opportunities and education as part of efforts to empower women across the country.
In a Mother’s Day message, Mutharika said his administration was investing in maternal health services, economic empowerment initiatives and girls’ education to remove barriers that prevent women from thriving.
