Benghazi Chamber of Commerce reported today that it hosted a delegation from the Pakistani Embassy, led by Ambassador Mumtaz Hussain.
The Chamber said the visit aimed to strengthen economic and commercial relations and explore ways to develop cooperation between the two sides.
The meeting addressed several topics of common interest, most notably encouraging Pakistani companies to enter the Libyan market and explore available investment opportunities—a prospect supported by the country’s current state of security and stability, as well as the promising potential it offers across various economic sectors.
Both parties also discussed coordination mechanisms for organizing and scheduling exhibitions, conferences, and economic events. The Chamber said such initiatives are intended to foster greater interaction between the two business communities and open new avenues for commercial and investment partnerships between Libya and Pakistan.
The meeting underscored the importance of establishing a direct communication channel between the Chamber and the Consulate to ensure ongoing coordination, the exchange of information, and the facilitation of connections between companies and business professionals in both nations.
Benghazi Chamber said this meeting is part of its broader efforts to expand its international network and enhance cooperation with diplomatic missions—an approach designed to support the business environment, attract investment, and bolster economic partnerships.
