Bella Hadid debuted a look that will go down in Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show history on last night’s runway, and once the show was over, she pulled a piece of pop-culture history out for a spin.
Hadid and her fellow angels took off their wings for the official VS after-party in Los Angeles, and the Orebella founder slipped on a lacy black minidress that looked awfully familiar.
The dark blue piece had a high neckline, long sleeves, and floral lace all over—a style which closely resembled the Dolce & Gabbana mini that Britney Spears wore to the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs).
While the pop princess wore her piece over a bra and micro boy shorts, Hadid pulled a cue (and a set) from the VS runway and opted instead for a sexy silky black bra and thong combo. She also traded Spear’s strappy stilettos for a pair of sleek black pointed-toe pumps.
