Gombe state governor, Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has expressed condolences to former governor of the state and Senator representing Gombe North, Senator Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo, over the death of his brother, Alhaji Nasiru Dankwambo.
Alhaji Nasiru Dankwambo reportedly passed away on Monday.
The governor’s condolence message was contained in a press statement issued by Ismaila Uba Misilli, Director-General, Press Affairs, Government House, Gombe.
In the statement, Governor Yahaya described the death as a painful loss, noting that the passing of a loved one is always a difficult experience for the bereaved family.
He extended his sympathies to Senator Dankwambo, members of the Dankwambo family and all those affected by the death, urging them to draw strength from the cherished memories and enduring values of the deceased.
The governor also prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the late Nasiru Dankwambo, grant him Aljannat Firdaus and give the family the strength and patience to bear the loss.
