A stabbing at the Homeplus Guwol store in Incheon has left multiple people injured.
Police and fire authorities said a call was received at about 1:49 p.m. on the 13th reporting a knife attack at the Homeplus Guwol store in Namdong District, Incheon. Officers who responded to the scene arrested a man, identified only as A, at the site.
The exact number of victims has not been confirmed, but police believe between six and eight people were injured. At about 2:12 p.m., fire authorities set up an emergency medical station on the first floor out of concern over a large number of casualties.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the attack and the extent of the injuries.
