ISKCON Visakhapatnam will unveil a life-size mechanised elephant at MGM Park on Beach Road at 5 p.m. on Sunday as part of Sharad Purnima celebrations.
The programme will feature bhajan clubbing, combining devotional music and kirtan, followed by a Deepotsavam, a traditional offering of lamps, to mark the occasion.
The organisers said ISKCON Governing Body chairman Madhusevita Prabhu, Members of Parliament, Members of the Legislative Assembly and other prominent personalities from the city would attend the event.
ISKCON Visakhapatnam has invited devotees, families and members of the public to participate in the celebrations.
