Third Consecutive Year of Recognition as One of Asia’s Best Companies to Work For,
Creating Positive Impact for Thailand
Bangkok, 25 September 2026 – Danone Thailand has reaffirmed its commitment to building a future-ready workplace amid the changing world of work, earning five recognitions at the HR Asia Awards 2026: Best Company to Work For in Asia, People Transformation Awards, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Award, Sustainable Workplace Awards, and the newly introduced Tech Empowerment Awards.
Receiving all five awards this year reflects Danone Thailand’s commitment to building a strong organization from within, from investing in employee growth and wellbeing and fostering a culture that embraces differences, to leveraging technology and AI to enhance efficiency and create learning opportunities. These efforts ensure that both the company’s people and organization are ready to adapt to a rapidly evolving workplace. The recognition also reflects Danone’s belief that creating lasting positive impact for people, society, and the environment begins with empowering employees to grow and drive meaningful change. This year, Danone was selected as one of only 60 organizations recognized from among 323 organizations in Thailand.
Future-Ready Through Technology and AI
One of Danone Thailand’s most notable achievements this year is receiving the Tech Empowerment Awards for the first time. The recognition reflects the company’s approach to leveraging technology with “people” at the center, not only to improve efficiency, but also to enable employees to work, learn, and develop their full potential.
Danone Thailand continues to promote the adoption of digital tools and AI across the organization, while strengthening digital, data, and AI capabilities through the Digital, Data and AI (DDAI) Academy e-learning platform. The program enables employees to develop future-ready skills and are equipped with tools that support more effective ways of working, including Microsoft Copilot, which supports data analysis and strategic work, and Founda, a digital platform that has helped improve operational agility and efficiency by as much as 50%.
Vincent Teh, Country Manager of Danone Thailand, said: “The workplace is evolving rapidly, and at Danone, we believe people are the most important drivers of change. Whether it is creating innovation, serving consumers, or generating positive impact for society and the environment, our people make the difference. For us, embracing technology and AI is not simply about improving efficiency. It is about equipping our employees with tools that help them work better while creating opportunities for everyone to learn and develop the skills needed for the future. We believe sustainable transformation happens when our people grow alongside the organization. Technology is therefore an important enabler that helps unlock human potential while supporting an open, caring, and future-ready workplace culture.”
Driving Change Through People
The belief that “our people are at the heart of everything we do” continues to guide Danone Thailand’s people strategy. The company believes sustainable growth and long-term positive impact for people and society can only be achieved when employees are supported in their development, wellbeing, and career aspirations.
This commitment is reflected in employee benefits, workplace culture, and opportunities for learning and development. Examples include the Work From Anywhere policy, which allows employees to work flexibly every Monday and Friday, and the Be-Well Program, designed around three pillars: nutrition, mental health, and physical wellbeing.
Danone also invests in talent development and career growth through initiatives such as Talent Mobility, A Day in the Life, SEA Mentoring Program, Succession Planning, and the Capability Enhancement Committee. These programs provide employees with opportunities to gain new experiences, strengthen capabilities, explore future career pathways, and prepare for leadership roles across the region. This commitment to continuous learning and development contributed to Danone Thailand receiving the People Transformation Awards in 2026.
Championing Inclusion and Belonging
Another area where Danone Thailand continues to drive progress is Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI). The company believes that differences should never be a barrier to opportunity. Instead, diversity can be a powerful source of new perspectives, innovation, and organizational strength.
One initiative that brings this commitment to life is the Neurodiversity Internship Program, which creates opportunities for neurodivergent individuals to gain hands-on experience within the organization. The program provides a platform for participants to showcase their unique strengths and perspectives, while fostering greater awareness and understanding of diversity in the workplace. It reflects Danone’s commitment to building a culture rooted in inclusion, equality, and respect for human rights.
Creating a More Sustainable Thailand
Beyond supporting employee growth and development, Danone Thailand believes its people play a critical role in driving change both within the organization and in the wider society. Empowering employees to learn, grow, and contribute to their fullest potential is therefore a key foundation for creating lasting positive impact.
This philosophy is aligned with the Danone Impact Journey, Danone’s sustainability framework, which believes that business growth should go hand in hand with creating value for people, communities, and the environment. Employees in Thailand contribute to this journey every day, whether by applying their expertise in nutrition and health to benefit consumers and communities, conducting business responsibly, or supporting the efficient use of resources and environmental stewardship. At Danone’s manufacturing site in Bangplee Industrial Estate, Samut Prakan, the company’s Triple Zero roadmap continues to drive efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, manage water responsibly, and minimize waste, reinforcing Danone’s commitment to sustainable operations.
Five Awards, One Commitment
For Danone Thailand, receiving recognition from the HR Asia Awards for the third consecutive year, and earning five awards in 2026, is more than an organizational achievement. It is also a reflection of employee feedback and an affirmation of the company’s commitment to putting people at the center of everything it does.
From creating a positive workplace culture and supporting employee wellbeing, to fostering inclusion, developing future-ready capabilities, embracing technology and AI, and advancing sustainability, Danone remains committed to helping its people thrive while creating value beyond the organization.
Because at Danone, we believe that our mission to bring health through food to as many people as possible begins with people who are capable, inspired, and empowered to grow. Ultimately, it is our people who help bring this mission to life every day
