Alongside the new Win 2-series phones, Honor will launch a compact gaming tablet with performance-focused specs. It will be a direct rival to the Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 5 and RedMagic Astra 2, and, with recent teasers, the company has formally confirmed some of the device's core specs.
Honor recently unveiled a new high-end gaming pad with an OLED display and a compact form factor, the Win Tablet. During the announcement event, the demo unit revealed most of the core specs of the device, and with recent teasers, the company has formally confirmed some of them.
One of the official teasers revealed that the Honor Win Tablet will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. This is the last-gen flagship SoC from Qualcomm, and it would make the device a direct rival to the Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 5 and RedMagic Astra 2.
The SoC inside the gaming tablet is paired with an active cooling setup, and it should give it an edge over the Legion Tab Gen 5, which has passive cooling. Honor has previously revealed that the pad will feature an 8.4-inch display, making it more compact than the Lenovo gaming tablet and RedMagic Astra 2.
While it has a compact form factor, the Honor Win Tablet is confirmed to feature a 10,000mAh battery, which is a rather large capacity for its size. For reference, the 8.8-inch Legion Tab Gen 5 has a 9,000mAh battery, while the RedMagic Astra 2 with a 9.06-inch display packs an 8,300mAh battery (Anker 165W 25K power bank curr. $119.98 on Amazon).
Speaking of the display, the 8.4-inch OLED display of the Honor Win Tablet has a 240Hz refresh rate, and it was previously revealed to sport a 2304x1440 pixel resolution. Other details have not been formally revealed yet, but the hands-on picture from the announcement event showed that there will be a configuration with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The good part is that the launch is set for October 21, 2026, which isn't far from now.
