Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) and Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) have agreed to get revenge on behalf of Zoe (Michelle Ryan) in EastEnders as they begins a search for the man who left her to die.
Zoe tragically died last month after hitting her head, with subsequent scenes confirming that someone had been with her moments before she passed.
Viewers know that someone to be Max Branning (Jake Wood) but Kat remains in the dark. Consumed with grief, she pushed her loved ones – particularly Alfie – away, ending their marriage.
But as she headed off in the rain through a forest, she contacted her one true love and apologised. Alfie wasted little time in tracking down his beloved Kat, who asked for his help in finding the man who left Zoe for dead, revealing that she wants his blood.
Our visits to Walford might be finished for the week but there is plenty more drama to follow, as Kat and Alfie begin their quest, while Craig Ingram (Matthew James Bailey) does the unthinkable, leaving Denzel Danes (Jaden Ladega) devastated.

United following their heart-to-heart, Kat and Alfie resolve to track down the man she believes left Zoe to die. The couple set off in search of the former owner of Charlie’s cab, who Zoe clashed with hours before her demise.
They’re successful in their quest, locating the man in question, who assures them that he’s been cleared by the police. The news comes as a blow to Kat but she’s not giving up, vowing to get justice for her Zoe.
Jasmine Fisher (Indeyarna Donaldson-Holness), however, grows suspicious of Kat’s behaviour and questions Alfie on what she’s up to.
Will Alfie spill? And is Kat close to finding out about Max’s role in Zoe’s demise?
Speaking of Max, the lothario is on a mission to get Suki Panesar-Unwin (Balvinder Sopal) to sell him No.31 but his attention is soon elsewhere when Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) returns from their honeymoon with a new man.
Cindy is determined to look forward but she is upset when her card is declined. Max agrees to help her out financially but, upon finding lipstick in his flat, Cindy is determined to find out who the mystery woman he’s been seeing is.
Elsewhere, Denzel is worried as his blackmailer – aka Craig – makes it clear that his intimate images will be leaked if he doesn’t pay up. Nugget (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) attempts to steal money from the Minute Mart in a bid to help him out but his plan doesn’t work out.
Denzel is touched when Howie (Delroy Atkinson) and Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) surprise him with a signet ring ahead of his birthday but he subsequently pawns it to raise the cash needed.
Later, his family and friends gather to celebrate his birthday as Craig watches from afar. Amy confronts Craig over his actions and, seething with jealously, he decides to send the picture to Howie and Kim anyway, with Denzel’s loved ones horrified.
And as for the Hawkins, Gemma (Patricia Potter) and Jodie (Anna Constable) attempt to keep their car troubles under wraps from Ned (Jamie Bamber) but there’s a bit of a hiccup in their plan when Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) won’t assist.
