Emart24 said on the 21st that it is revamping its private brand Yellow to mark the label's first anniversary.
Through the revamp, the convenience store chain is strengthening products that reflect the latest taste and health trends and has redesigned packaging to make product features easier to identify. Revamped and new products are being rolled out in stages, led by Popchips in black truffle jamon and pizza flavors and low-sugar almond chocolate.
The company also launched a promotion to mark the revamp. Through the end of October, Emart24 is offering a buy-one-get-one-free deal on the black truffle jamon and pizza Popchips and on All Day Water 500-milliliter bottled water for customers paying with the integrated barcode in its mobile app.
Emart24 plans to expand the Yellow lineup to about 150 items by the end of this year through product revamps and new launches. In the second half, it will introduce health-oriented products such as chicken breast.
Emart24 launched Yellow in October last year and had expanded the lineup to 96 items as of October this year. Yellow sales over the past three months rose 42% from the first three months after the launch. Cumulative sales of its flagship products, the Bitter-Sweet-Salty-Aroma-Peanut coffee line and All Day Water 500-milliliter bottled water, have topped 12 million units.
"We will continue to offer products that consider new tastes and health based on reasonable prices and quality, giving customers more reasons to visit Emart24," an Emart24 official said.
