The current graduation follows the previous passing out parade held earlier this year in April. During the April ceremony, Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu served as chief guest. The military’s media wing confirmed that Air Chief Marshal Sidhu reviewed the parade officers on that occasion. That earlier graduating batch included officers from the 153rd PMA Long Course and 27th Lady Cadet Course. Therefore, PMA Kakul continues its rigorous biannual tradition of commissioning new officers into military service.
Pakistan Military Academy maintains a proud international reputation for training military officers from various friendly partner nations. Cadets from countries such as Palestine, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Iraq, Maldives, and Mali routinely graduate. The rigorous training program equips domestic and foreign cadets with essential leadership and tactical military skills. Furthermore, the presence of foreign graduates strengthens international defense ties and diplomatic cooperation across allied countries. Consequently, the academy serves as a central hub for regional military excellence and professional training.
During the ceremony, top-performing cadets receive prestigious military awards and ceremonial swords of honor for exceptional performance. The chief guest reviews the marching contingents and delivers an address emphasizing devotion, discipline, and national defense duties. Furthermore, the newly commissioned officers take solemn oaths to defend the country’s sovereignty against all threats. Family members express immense pride as their loved ones officially complete their demanding officer training courses. Thus, the event marks a memorable career milestone for every graduating officer cadet present.
