Ancora alta tensione in Albania.

"Nasilje nema mesta u Albaniji.

🇦🇱🇹🇷|The arms were sold to Tirana by Ankara. The defense industry was handed to Tel Aviv. Türkiye did not lose Albania to Israel. It armed the country that Israel is now taking over. The Turkish Weapons Were the Cover Albania bought Bayraktar TB2 strike drones from Turkey’s Baykar, with the purchase agreement signed in December 2022. It later received kamikaze drones believed to be of Turkish manufacture, referred to online as YiHA-III, whose design has been recorded in Ukraine and Pakistan and which analysts assess to be a joint product of Pakistan’s RE&RP Group and Turkey’s Baykar. In July 2026, Albania received its first-ever artillery: six 105mm Boran towed howitzers from Turkiye’s MKE. A fresh contract for a squadron of Bayraktar TB2 drones was signed in October 2026. The Albanian Armed Forces were rebuilt around Turkish drones, Turkish artillery, and Turkish doctrine. The country’s defense modernization was structured on Turkiye’s Bayraktar TB2 and missile systems. Albania’s defense minister met his Turkish counterpart in Ankara in October 2026 to discuss technology transfer and joint ventures. Türkiye was not a bystander in Albania’s militarization. It was the primary supplier. Israel Was Given the Industry, Not Just the Market While Turkish hardware filled Albanian arsenals, Israel was given something more durable: the production capacity. In April 2025, Albania’s state-owned defense company KAYO signed a cooperation memorandum with Elbit Systems, one of Israel’s largest military technology manufacturers, in the presence of Prime Minister Edi Rama. In November 2025, Albania reached a deal with Elbit for 155mm ATMOS truck-mounted howitzers, 120mm SPEAR mortars, and two types of tactical drones, Magni-X and Thor, alongside collaboration to build local defense manufacturing. Elbit committed to helping Albania create a drone manufacturing facility. In May 2026, Elbit announced plans to open a European subsidiary in Albania. The National Flight School was built in partnership with Elbit and KAYO, training Albanian pilots and air traffic controllers to NATO standards. Half of Albania’s defense budget is now spent on American, British, and Israeli weapons, with mobile artillery, cannons, mortars, military trucks, and drones purchased from Israel, and KAYO collaborating with Israeli partners to revive domestic arms production. Türkiye sold Albania the weapons it uses today. Israel is building the factories that will arm Albania tomorrow. Turkiye’s Media Knows What Happened Turkish newspapers did not miss the shift. Yeni Akit called Albania’s military cooperation with Israel “a scandalous move” from a “friend” country that had bought Turkish TB2 drones and signed many agreements with Türkiye. Türkiye Gazetesi reported that Israel, having deployed missile systems in Southern Cyprus, Greece, and Romania, had opened talks with Bulgaria, Albania, Serbia, Hungary, and Moldova to expand its encirclement line against Turkiye. The paper quoted retired Colonel İbrahim Keleş saying Israel was building a “siege shield” against Turkiye. Koha Jonë reported that Türkiye views its partnership with Albania as strategic, and that Israel’s deep entry into Tirana does not please Erdoğan. Pamfleti reported that Rama is trying to keep “one foot in Ankara and the other in Tel Aviv,” deepening cooperation with Israel in the arms and security industry while maintaining defense ties with Türkiye, and that Turkish media have published criticism of Tirana’s rapprochement with Israel. The Turkish press is not confused about what happened. It is angry about it. The Intelligence War: MIT Against Mossad, and Rama as the Prize Albanian analyst Alfred Cako has stated that Turkiye’s intelligence service MIT is working to destabilize Rama’s government, which it regards as an “Israeli puppet,” while Mossad and the CIA are working to keep him in power. Albanian outlets have described Albania as a battleground between MIT and Mossad, with Rama “one day appearing on Erdoğan’s side, the next day approaching Israel”. The timing is documented. On 12 October 2026, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar met Rama in Tirana. On 13 October, protests escalated into violent clashes. Israeli media reported the belief that Erdoğan’s hand was behind the protests, given Rama’s open embrace of Israel and the collapse of the Rama-Erdoğan relationship. Türkiye is not fighting Israel for Albania through diplomacy. It is fighting through intelligence, and it is losing. What Turkiye Actually Accomplished Türkiye armed Albania. It sold Tirana the drones and artillery that rebuilt its military. It trained Albanian forces and embedded itself in the country’s defense modernization. None of that stopped Israel from taking the next step. Israel did not need to sell Albania the drones it already had. It needed the industrial base, the training pipeline, and the political dependency that would make Albania a permanent node in Israel’s Balkan defense network. Elbit provided that. The flight school provided that. The drone factory and the European subsidiary provided that. Türkiye supplied the hardware. Israel supplied the architecture. A country whose army flies Turkish drones but whose defense industry is owned by Elbit, whose pilots are trained by Elbit, and whose cybersecurity summit hosted forty Israeli companies is not a Turkish ally that Israel infiltrated. It is an Israeli platform that Türkiye helped build. The first Albania-Israel summit on cybersecurity was held in Tirana on 13 May 2026, with about forty Israeli companies participating. Israel’s Balkan network is described by the Middle East Forum as a “hedge against geopolitical isolation,” with defense partnerships on both sides of regional fault lines to preserve Jerusalem’s reach. Albania is one of those nodes. The Bottom Line Türkiye sold Albania the weapons. Israel took the industry. Ankara can rebuke Rama. Turkish newspapers can call it a scandal. MIT can try to destabilize him. None of it changes the outcome. The Albanian military that Türkiye armed now depends on Israeli production, Israeli training, and Israeli technology for its future. The Turkish drones are the present. The Elbit factory is the future. Türkiye did not hand Albania to Israel in a single deal. It did something worse. It built the military that Israel then wired into its own network. The arms were Turkish. The architecture is Israeli. The country is gone. — Aprajita Nafs Nefes 🦋 Ancient Believer (@aprajitanefes) October 21, 2026
"Veoma smo svesni situacije.
