Why we show this: prediction markets turn real-money bets into a live probability that moves within minutes of the news, which is why investors, campaigns and newsrooms in the United States now follow them closely. We show them next to polls and official results, never instead of them.

Planning Your Belo Horizonte in October
October is warm in Belo Horizonte, with afternoons often hot and a chance of afternoon showers. Carry a small umbrella and check the forecast before outdoor events like the birdwatching project or the gypsy festival.
No nationwide public holiday falls between 17 and 31 October 2026, so shops, banks and offices keep normal hours. The national holiday of Nossa Senhora Aparecida was on Monday 12 October, before this guide’s window.
For tickets, check the event’s official channels. Many municipal events are free, but some require registration through Prefeitura forms or free tickets collected at the venue box office.
At night, use ride-hailing apps or registered taxis rather than walking long distances between neighbourhoods. The city centre around Teatro Marília is busy by day but quieter after dark, so plan your route.
