Giants Making Big Cam Skattebo Change for Saints Game

The New York Giants will be going up against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday for their Week 6 matchup.

The Giants will be looking to pick up a victory against the Saints after tying the Washington Commanders in their most recent game. Now, as the Giants prepare for their game against the Saints, they are making a significant change to their lineup involving Cam Skattebo.

According to ESPN's Jordan Raanan, the Giants are expected to downgrade Skattebo and give running back Najee Harris a larger role in their game against the Saints. However, Raanan also reported that Skattebo should still be active despite having his role reduced.

This is a notable decision by the Giants but also an understandable one. Skattebo has been having a tough start to the season. He has recorded four fumbles this season, which included in their most recent game against the Commanders. During that matchup, Skattebo fumbled the ball in overtime, which proved to be costly.

Skattebo has appeared in five games this season for the Giants, where he has one touchdown, 81 rushes, and 294 rushing yards. This is after he had five touchdowns, 101 rushes, and 410 rushing yards in eight games for the Giants last season.
