The Buffalo Bills cleaned up one of their biggest problems Sunday.
After turning the ball over nine times in three games, Buffalo didn't give it away once against the Las Vegas Raiders.
That helped the Bills hold on for a 33-30 victory while Josh Allen tied Jim Kelly's franchise touchdown-pass record, James Cook joined some rare company with O.J. Simpson and Tyler Bass kept one of the NFL's longer kicking streaks alive.
Buffalo improved to 5-1 heading into its bye week.
Here are seven noteworthy stats from the Bills' Week 6 win.
Josh Allen tied Jim Kelly's Bills touchdown pass record
Josh Allen found a fitting way to catch Jim Kelly.
Allen appeared headed for a sack in the third quarter before escaping enough pressure to flip a 12-yard touchdown pass to Keon Coleman while being dragged toward the turf.
It was the 258th touchdown pass of Allen's career, tying Kelly for the most in Bills history.
Allen had already thrown a 9-yard touchdown pass to Khalil Shakir in the second quarter.
He finished 23 of 33 for 255 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions.
James Cook trails only O.J. Simpson through six games
James Cook didn't quite reach 100 rushing yards for the fourth time this season. He still joined some exclusive company.
Cook rushed 22 times for 95 yards and a touchdown, giving him 627 rushing yards through Buffalo's first six games.
Only O.J. Simpson has had more through six games of a season in Bills history. Simpson had 868 rushing yards through six games in 1973 and 911 in 1975.
Cook also caught all three of his targets for 58 yards, giving him 153 yards from scrimmage against Las Vegas.
He scored the go-ahead touchdown on a 3-yard run with 4:43 remaining.
Bills finally played turnover-free football
Buffalo had spent the previous three weeks giving the football away.
The Bills committed nine turnovers during that stretch.
They had none Sunday.
It was Buffalo's first turnover-free game since Week 2 against the Detroit Lions.
Cook entered Sunday with four fumbles through five games, including two Monday night against the Los Angeles Rams. Bills head coach Joe Brady warned that Cook's carries could eventually decrease if the problem continued.
Brady's plan against Las Vegas wasn't complicated.
“They asked me in the CBS production meeting last night, ‘What are you going to do with James Cook?’” Brady said. “I was like, ‘Hand him the football.’”
Cook touched the ball 25 times and didn't fumble.
Tyler Bass has made 18 straight field goals
Tyler Bass was perfect Sunday.
Again.
Bass made field goals from 44, 28, 47 and 38 yards against Las Vegas and converted all three of his extra points.
He has now made 18 consecutive field goals dating back to 2024.
That ties Rian Lindell's streak from Oct. 21-Dec. 9, 2007, for the longest by a Bills kicker since then.
Bass missed the entire 2025 season while on injured reserve because of hip and groin injuries that eventually required surgery.
He picked up where he left off.
Bass accounted for 15 of Buffalo's 33 points against the Raiders. His 38-yard field goal with 1:56 remaining gave the Bills a 33-23 lead and proved important after Las Vegas scored a touchdown 24 seconds later.
Keon Coleman keeps turning catches into first downs
Keon Coleman caught four passes Sunday. Every one moved the chains.
Coleman finished with 59 yards and a touchdown, and all four of his receptions resulted in first downs.
Fifteen of Coleman's 19 catches this season have produced first downs.
That's 78.9%.
Coleman has also caught a touchdown pass in three consecutive games. He's the first Bills wide receiver to do that since Gabe Davis scored in four straight games from Sept. 17-Oct. 8, 2023.
Bills averaging 32.8 points under Joe Brady
Joe Brady's first six games as an NFL head coach have produced a lot of points.
Buffalo is averaging 32.8 per game during Brady's 5-1 start. That's the second-highest scoring average in the Super Bowl era through a head coach's first six career games.
Only Mike Martz's 2000 St. Louis Rams averaged more at 43.7 points.
Buffalo has scored 36, 41, 24, 26, 37 and 33 points in Brady's six games.
Brady also became the first NFL coach to begin his head-coaching career 5-1 since Kevin O'Connell and Brian Daboll did it in 2022.
Raiders scored touchdowns on only 2 of 5 red-zone trips
The Bills defense didn't exactly shut down Las Vegas.
Kirk Cousins passed for 313 yards without being sacked, and the Raiders finished with 378 total yards.
Buffalo did enough when the field got shorter. Las Vegas reached the red zone five times but scored touchdowns on only two of those possessions.
The biggest stand came early in the fourth quarter.
The Raiders trailed 23-13 when they reached second-and-goal at the Buffalo 1-yard line. Greg Gaines dropped Ashton Jeanty for a 3-yard loss before Davison Igbinosun broke up Cousins' third-down pass in the end zone.
Las Vegas settled for a 23-yard field goal.
