Gospel singer Khaya Mthethwa has hit a personal milestone, stepping into new musical territory with the release of his first Venda-language song, Rhividza Vhone. The track, which features Takie Ndou from The Encounter, was officially announced on 21 October 2026, marking a meaningful expansion of Khaya's worship music catalogue.
Known for his powerful gospel sound and his dedication to faith-driven music, Khaya, who celebrated his nuptials in 2025, shared the news with his followers alongside an enthusiastic message about the experience of praising God in one of South Africa's indigenous languages.
"My very first Venda song, and what a joy it is to praise the Lord in another beautiful language," he wrote.

The song is part of the broader Art & Worship II The Encounter project, which includes two additional tracks: Covenant Keeping God featuring Oncemore Six, and Simbathise. Together, the releases reflect Khaya's continued commitment to creating music that speaks across cultural and linguistic divides within South Africa.
