When Michael “Venom” Page signed with the UFC in December 2023, fans expected his flashy striking and highlight-reel knockouts from his Bellator days to make an immediate impact in the Octagon. However, his UFC run never quite lived up to those expectations.
Page finished his six-fight stint with a 5-1 record but failed to score a single finish. His latest appearance at UFC Paris was another frustrating outing, as he earned a decision win over Nursulton Ruziboev in a fight that did little to excite fans. It also turned out to be the final bout on his UFC contract.
Following his departure from the promotion, Page wasted little time finding his next home. The Englishman signed a multi-fight deal with KSI’s Misfits Boxing last weekend, and the financial terms appear to be a major upgrade from his UFC contract.
Michael “Venom” Page Set to Earn Seven Figures Per Fight Under Misfits Boxing Deal
Page recently opened up about the move during an interview with Ariel Helwani, revealing just how much better the offer was and why he was excited to join the promotion.
He said, “Misfits, they came with a crazy deal, an absolutely crazy deal – which means I’ve continued to grow and get better financially. Also, KSI is my boy, and I’ve worked alongside the Misfits guys before with some of my teammates who have fought; in corners, my coaches have worked with them as well.”
The 39-year-old also revealed that his new deal would see him earn significantly more than he did during his entire UFC run.
“It’s a lot of exciting stuff as well as a better payday. I left the UFC, and I’m making more money. Like two times more, and in a short period. It’s a three-fight deal, and in this three-fight deal, I’ll make more than I made for my whole UFC contract.”
MVP reveals he’ll make more money in his three-fight Misfits deal than he did during his entire UFC run, with seven figures per fight:
“Misfits came with an absolutely crazy deal, which means I’ve continued to grow and get better financially.
I’ve left the UFC and I’m making more money. Like two times more, maybe just over, and in a shorter period.
In a three-fight deal, I’ll make more than I have my whole UFC contract.”

The financial details make Page’s move particularly interesting. He revealed that he is set to earn seven figures per fight under the three-fight agreement, which allows him to compete in either boxing or MMA.
The deal is exclusive to Misfits for striking competition, although Page remains free to pursue grappling elsewhere. With an 18-month expiration window, the contract also gives him flexibility without locking him into a lengthy commitment.
Page has already started looking ahead to potential opponents, mentioning former UFC fighters Darren Till, Tony Ferguson and Nate Diaz as names he would like to face in this new chapter of his career.
Although Page managed a winning record in the UFC, his performances rarely matched the excitement surrounding his arrival. His only loss came against Ian Machado Garry at UFC 303 in June 2024, but the lack of finishes throughout his run left plenty of fans wanting more.

Page is now ready to move on, though. His UFC run may not have gone as planned, but the Misfits deal offers him a fresh opportunity, a significant financial boost, and more freedom to explore different combat sports matchups.
