Premium smartphones are often out of reach for a wider audience. However, Samsung has now introduced a solution to this problem, especially for those people who want a Galaxy device without paying the full price. Its certified renewed phones are now available on Amazon in the US, with prices starting at USD 489.
The range includes 14 versions of the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S25 series, including,

Galaxy S24, 256GB(USD 549)
Galaxy S24+, 256GB (USD 649)
Galaxy S24+, 512GB (USD 699)

Galaxy S25 Ultra, 256GB (USD 979)
Galaxy S25 Ultra, 512GB (USD 1,029)
These phones have been used before, but Samsung checks and repairs them with genuine parts. Each phone also gets a new battery and comes with a one-year limited warranty. Buyers can also choose Samsung Care+ for extra cover.
Samsung says each phone passes 147 quality checks before it goes on sale. Prices depend on the model and storage space. The Galaxy S24 FE starts at USD 489, while the Galaxy S25 Ultra starts at USD 979.
Although Samsung's initial lineup of certified renewed models doesn’t include Galaxy S26 series devices or foldable models, they are part of the wider plan, as per the company’s official announcement.

What Should Buyers Check Before Buying?
A lower price never certifies a great deal. Thus, buyers should compare the cost of a renewed phone with the price of a new model on sale. They should also check storage, color options, warranty terms, and the return policy.
It’s always recommended to buy a renewed phone from its original maker. That’s safer than paying an unknown seller the same amount. For Samsung users, the company will offer a new battery, genuine parts, and a warranty for the refurbished phones that no other seller will provide them with. However, the comparison is still important to determine whether users are paying the right amount for a device.
