SAN MARCOS - Although Texas State football is coming off a record-breaking win over Colorado State, it can't rest easy.
Utah State visits Saturday as a determined, defense-first squad that could challenge Texas State's well-oiled offensive machine. Although the Aggies have struggled to score, they're allowing 23.5 points per game and have given up the fewest touchdowns in the Pac-12.
The Bobcats defense allows the second-fewest rushing yards per game in the conference (127). The secondary has been the issue, allowing 297.3 yards a game, the worst in the Pac-12. However, Utah State fields an inefficient air attack, completing 52.5% of passes for 189.8 yards per game.
